Sunflower Project

This is a great way to involve the whole class or school in growing and understanding more about the life cycle of a seed to an edible output. 

You can get classes to see who has the most success or simply ask them to measure and monitor their sunflowers. 

It is a relatively cost effective activity, and who knows you may save seeds to use the following year.
